Till now, darkfall claims to have the largest territory of the online worlds. The world is consisted of three parts, a large central continent, 4 smaller ones in the north-east, north-west, south-east and south-west and a large amount of small archipelagos. It is said that it would take almost 8 hours for a human to run from one side to the other. Different diverse terrain types such as plain, ice, forest, swamp and so on are included in the large domain. Each part is developed by human hands and not generated automatically. Majority of terrain types can be accessed by appropriate skills, for instance, if you have the ability of walking, you are allowed to climb mountains.
